Iranian Nuclear Scientist Assassinated In Suicide Attack

Friday, November 27th, 2020

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh died of injuries sustained in an attack that occurred in Absard outside of Tehran earlier today. Multiple assailants and at least one explosion were involved. Per Iran's Ministry of Defense, Fakhrizadeh was martyred in a "terrorist assault" and had been serving as head of their Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research. Retaliation by Iran against terrorist targets is probable and has been suggested by Iranian officials. In January of this year after the assassination of Iranian Quds force commander Qassem Soleimani, Iran demonstrated the capability of striking US targets with precision and left the US without viable avenues for any response other than acquiescence to the US's own impotence in the region.

US Reducing Iraq And Afghanistan Occupying Troops, Allegedly Floating Plans To Strike Iranian Nuclear Sites

Tuesday, November 17th, 2020

Following hurried changes at the top of the USG's Pentagon, the Trump administration is planning to reduce the number of US troops in Afghanistan to 2500, a reduction of 2000 while taking a further 500 troops out of Iraq. Back in February the Trump Administration signed a sort of surrender to the Taliban.

Meanwhile rumors leaked out of the US DOD concerning possible strikes on Iranian nuclear sites by the US have Iran threatening a crushing retaliation should the US strike. In January Iran launched unanswered retaliatory strikes against US troops in Iraq following the assassination of one of their generals en route to a diplomatic meeting at the invitation of the Iraqi government.

10 ASEAN Members And 5 Other Asia-Pacific Countries Sign Trade Pact: USSA And India Left Out

Sunday, November 15th, 2020

Fifteen countries in the Asia-Pacific region agreed to a multilateral trade deal. Signatories include 30% of the world's gross domestic product, based on a figure for worldwide gross domestic product that has yet to catch up to this year's economic destruction which continues. The US was excluded from the pact as they favored pushing a different "Trans Pacific Partnership" which includes terms the US is increasingly outside of a position to request. This follows Monday's armistice between Armenia and Azerbaijan which was supported by Russia without any US involvement either.

India finds themselves outside the pact after participating in most of the negotiations due to ongoing tensions with China. Australia submitted to the new pact despite their own open disputes with China.
