USSA Quits "Open Skies" Treaty Escalating Tensions With Russia

The United States has quit the cold war era "Open Skies" treaty which allowed for surveillance flights over the potential combatants with the aim of lowering the chances that tensions break into actual combat.

    Does 1992 belong to the "Cold War era"? More like "Soviet surrender" era.

      The negotiations did start before Soviet Russia surrendered while the North American Soviets waited until this year to really get their own collapse going.
