North Korea Paraded New ICBM This Weekend

During a military parade this weekend to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Workers Party of Korea four new model intercontinental ballistic missiles were featured. Each one rode on its own 11 axle mobile launcher. The new missiles are larger than the Hwasong-15 tested in 2017 which appeared to have the range necessary to reach the continental United States based on its observed performance. While North Korea has not released any details about the missiles, their appearance suggests Pyongyang has crossed a milestone in developing its nuclear deterrent that will allow it to retaliate against attacks by comfortably delivering nuclear payloads to targets in the US mainland.
