Greek Court Convicts Dissident Golden Dawn Party As "Criminal Organization"

A Greek court has convicted 7 former Golden Dawn legislators of leading a "criminal organization" while numerous other convictions for participating in a "criminal organization" were delivered in a five year trial featuring 68 defendants. Golden Dawn was Greece's third largest political party, but despite receiving votes their participation in Greek democracy was opposed by governing bureaucrats.

Of the four cases considered at trial, the flagship case against Golden Dawn involved a leftist antifa aligned militant described in some reports as a "rapper" getting stabbed by a soccer hooligan that happened to support Golden Dawn. Fifteen of that case's defendants were convicted as "accomplices" to the stabbing.
