90% Of Workers With Unemployment Insurance Expiring In July Back To Work

With numerous Uruguayan workers ending up on unemployment insurance earlier this year as a consequence of the hysteria driven "#QuedateEnCasa" fad, 90 percent of workers whose unemployment insurance ended in July saw their employment reinstated. Another 5 percent saw their employment terminated while the fate of the remaining 5% is unknown to Labor Minister Pablo Mieres per his own admission. An estimated 98,700 fewer Uruguayans are employed than in February, the month before the stay at home mobilization.
