Troops Deployed In Atlanta After State Patrol Headquarters Attacked As Civil Unrest Surges

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp ordered National Guard Troops to be deployed to Atlanta after the headquarters of the Georgia Bureau of Public Safety and Georgia State Patrol was attacked by a mob armed in incendiary devices. Two state government employees were hospitalized for smoke inhalation and extensive damage was inflicted on the state facility. Atlanta has been a particular pain point in this summer's unrest in the US.
